Discover Patrick Ginter's Visionary Art

Originally from Minnesota, has recently February of 2019 received his BFA in Fine art from Minnesota State University at Mankato MN,  Patrick won several first place awards for paintings in oil pastel in his hometown of Owatonna Minn. at an early age, and now most recently specializing in painting with acrylics in a very original and spontaneous modern expressionistic style, Patrick Ginter travels the Country from New York to Florida and now he is now living in California and painting what inspires him, be it landscapes, celebrities, or the local scene.  With the use of bold and bright brush strokes, he turns the world around him into something beautiful.

I define my art as Modern Expressionism. I have developed my own style of painting my whole life, professionally for the last thirty  years. I’m a painter who is inspired by local scenic landscapes and city scenes and also being influenced heavily by music, in respect for dedication to making music,  I do Iconic "Rock'n Roll," and other genre of music legends. My paintings are primarily done outside. I use color and paint to create a spontaneous dynamic which has a positive effect on the viewer. Primarily  focusing on energy and color hopefully so the viewer will  enjoy what they are seeing. It is I think a very modern and self-developed style that has been evolving throughout my lifetime, painting on location around the United States now mostly in California and primarily Venice Beach, the last stand for free spirits in a Country that has become obviously to visually computerized and digital brainwashing we have become slaves to companies that demand out attention like Tesla and Apple with our eyes on bright shiny things  that make us feel better????? Corporately commercialized and basically this new digital alignment has kept our brains well massaged but it has left artists like me behind I did not start painting for money but because I felt it was the gift from another world and I'm very thankful and RICH because of it!  My painting style has been influenced by Impressionism and early European Expressionist painters. However, I feel my style has developed into its own unique evolution that has become recognizable by my fans! MY VAN IS MY STUDIO!
